I created this blog so that I could help you and me -- save money -- and still feel like a Diva Princess. A Diva Princess is someone who can reach deep within herself -- listen to the spirit guide within her -- and -- live life with so much infectious laughter, wisdom, beauty -- a shining example of positive energy -- that she will grace all that know her.
When it comes to climbing out of debt -- the superheroe powers -- a Diva Princess holds -- her knowledge -- her common sense -- will surely surface -- in her darkest moment -- stopping her from that impulse purchase.
Today, I put a large note on my fridge saying I owed ten thousand dollars more than I really do.
Pretending -- to outwit -- any pending spending sprees -- this just might help.
No paperview movies for me this month. This will hurt as I am a real movie buff. But-- hey, I can still watch my own DVDs -- a lot of great chick flicks -- time and time again.
Last night I organized all my -- body creams -- shampoos -- nail polishes -- in shoe boxes -- which I will soon label. No more buying things I don't need. Never ever throw out a face cream or body cream. If you cannot tolerate it on your face -- I am quite certain they will work well on the legs, feet, and hands. I never throw out any creams -- they are priceless.
I have to admit, I am a Shoppers Drugmart Optimum points shopper. It's all good. I stay within a budget -- and at the end of say three months -- guess what, I can afford that one amazing face cream that I just cannot live without. Its called Joviance and its wonderful. Because of my points I honestly got my Joviance cream that sells for 90.00 -- unless its on 15% markdown -- which doesn't happen too often -- for a cool 15.00.
One important tip for today is -- always-- always -- pay off your visa balance every single month. If you can -- then switch to a travel points card. If not, stick with your low interest card.
